The Peninsula Pottery has been working on a really cool project, this is our third year! We’ve been inspired by the Terracotta Warriors and have been collaborating with the Mandarin classes to create something special. It’s been an incredible opportunity to learn about Chinese history and culture while also developing the artistic skills of students.
One of the most interesting aspects of the project was the cross-curricular collaboration between the Mandarin classes and the Peninsula Pottery. The Mandarin classes provided insights into the history and culture of China, while the ceramics club provided an opportunity for students to express their creativity and develop their artistic skills. The project has been a great way to combine different subjects and encourage interdisciplinary learning.
The Terracotta Warrior project has allowed us to learn, grow, and express ourselves. The collaboration with the Mandarin classes has added another layer of learning and made it a truly special experience. We’re grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to see what other projects we’ll work on in the future. As a non-profit, we rely on the support of our community to continue creating unique and interdisciplinary projects like this one.
If you’ve had the opportunity to visit the Terracotta Warriors in person, we’d love to hear from you! We’re always looking for ways to deepen our understanding of Chinese history and culture, and hearing about your first-hand experiences could be incredibly valuable.
Feel free to leave a comment or reach out to us directly with your stories and insights. We’d love to incorporate your perspectives into our project and continue learning from each other. Thank you for your support and for helping us build a stronger community around art and education!
